LaBelle Chapter OES holds 100th installation

STEUBENVILLE — LaBelle Chapter No. 414, Order of the Eastern Stars, recently held its 100th installation of officers at the Masonic Temple in Steubenville.

Officers installed included Sara Joe Peeler, worthy matron; Howard McClure, worthy patron; Eileen Alloggia, associate matron; Jason Gorney, associate patron; Wendy Gorney, secretary; Carolyn Bickerstaff, treasurer; Clara McClure, conductress; Ben Moxley, chaplain; Jim Davis, marshal; Lou Anne Craven, organist; Sandy Moxley, Adah; Stephanie Burch, Ruth; Arlene Sue Davis, Esther; Melissa Cooley, Martha; Lacey Kepner, Electa; Mary Gail Monroe; warder; and Opal Kleineke, sentinel.

Dorothy Newbold, past matron of the Toronto chapter, was the installing officer. She was assisted by Argie Cline, installing marshal; Audrey Rainsberger, installing chaplain; Grace McClester, installing organist; Paula Johns, installing warder; and Bryan Cooley, installing sentinel.

Honored guests were Patricia Smith, deputy grand matron; Marlene Wolf, grand representative to Ontario, Canada; and Diane Phillips, worthy matron of the Bolivar chapter.

Brothers honored by their Masonic fraternity were Ben Moxley, Tom Jones, Kenny Cline and Jason Gorney.

Others recognized at the event were 50-year members Anna Graham, Paula Johns, Ellsworth Graham (Toronto chapter), Mary Anna Cotter (Carroll chapter), Connie Loy (Bolivar chapter), Dorothy Stingle, Roberta Gilday, Lou Anne Craven (LaBelle chapter); district No. 14 officer Clara McClure, president No. 13, Grace McClester; Marty Bardall, out-of-state registration; and Diane Phillips, charities director. Installation committees were: registration, Lou Anne Craven and Anne Graham; chairs, Tom Johns; and refreshments, Clara McClure and Sara Joe Peeler families.
