The Mingo Lions Club recently held its Christmas party at the residence of member Jeffrey Schuetz. On hand to enjoy the covered-dish festivities were seated, from left, Luiggi Muscedere and Becka Derby; first row, Karen Harris, Clara Sue Milewsky and Leroy Milewsky; second row, Terry Snyder and Bill Snyder and third row, Nancy Nicosia, Doctor William Johns, Jo Ann Johns, Schuetz and Lamont McCoy. President William Snyder gave the welcome, and Karen Harris led in opening ceremonies. Guests introduced were Luiggi Muscedere, Becka Derby and Esther and Lamont McCoy. A brief business meeting was held. The club voted to give a donation to Mingo Social Services and Toys for Tots. The drawing for the turkey/ham fundraiser was held. The winners of the hams were Ron Bever and Tammy Ruckman. Clara Sue Milewsky conducted games. The winner of the candy tin game was Becka Derby and the Christmas song quiz game was Terry Snyder and Esther McCoy. A gift exchange was held. Schuetz conducted the Lions Club White Elephant sale with the proceeds going to the club for its various projects. The next regular meeting will be held Jan. 17.
