In celebration of Veterans Day and its own members who are veterans, the Steubenville Art Association is sponsoring an exhibit commemorating veterans and patriotic images. It is on display at Eastern Gateway Community College’s main floor through Nov. 16. Some of the association members who are veterans include, Paul Spencer, seated, and standing, from left, arts show Chair Jim Watson; George Taibi, who will be honored Friday in Brooke County as one of five of seven in his family who served in the military; Bob Martin and Nancy Morris. Other association veterans include Steve Glykas and Bob Watson, the solo artist for November at Historic Fort Steuben in Steubenville. An award-winning member and signature member of the Georgia Watercolor Society, Bob Watson recently was featured in a solo Weirton exhibit and is a member of the Hancock County Arts Council and the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society. Other association representatives exhibiting as part of the veterans display at EGCC are Jeanne D’Anniballe, president; Gina Judy, vice president; and Greg Starr and Barbara Van Fossen.
