WMC Auxiliary holding jewelry,
accessories sale Thursday, Friday
WEIRTON — The Weirton Medical Center Auxiliary will hold a $5 Masquerade jewelry and accessories sale from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday in the medical center atrium located on Colliers Way.
Annual community Christmas bazaar
scheduled for Saturday in Bethany
BETHANY — Bethany Memorial Church will hold its annual community Christmas bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
There will be live entertainment; a variety of handcrafted items, including pottery; Christmas items; baked goods; jewelry; and olive wood figures. Gift wrapping will be available with donations benefiting the Bethany College Relay for Life.
Breakfast and lunch also will be available.

having Christmas dinner Sunday
TORONTO — The Toronto Church of the Nazarene, 505 Findley St., will host its Christmas dinner on Sunday, beginning at 6 p.m.

Tri-State Community Concert Band plans Christmas performances
STEUBENVILLE — The Tri-State Community Concert Band announces two Christmas performances it will hold in December.
The first will be held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Prime Time Senior Center at 300 Lovers Lane.
The second will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 18 in the auditorium at Catholic Central High School.
Admission to both events is free.
The Tri-State Community Concert Band is comprised of musicians from Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania who perform a variety of music in many different area venues.
Christmas dinner, dance Dec. 15
at Greater Weirton Senior Center
WEIRTON — A Christmas dinner and dance party will be held Dec. 15 at the Greater Weirton Senior Center located at 3425 Main St.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with the dinner served at 5:45 p.m. The menu is rigatoni, salad, roll and dessert. Lite Touch will perform from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Tickets are $10 per person with reservations made by calling (304) 748-3490.
The event will include door prizes and a 50-50 drawing.
A photographer will be on hand to take pictures, with packages available for purchase.
Questers chapters hold joint meeting, host state treasurer as guest speaker
STEUBENVILLE — The Edwin M. Stanton Chapter of Ohio Questers met with the Bezaleel Wells and De-He-Wa-Mis chapters at the YWCA of Steubenville.
Eileen Krupinski, president of the Bezaleel Wells chapter, welcomed the members.
Becky Swickard, president of the Edwin M. Stanton chapter, gave the blessing before the luncheon.
Carol Lynn, Ohio state treasurer of Questers, was the guest speaker. The three local chapters will host the Ohio Questioners convention in October 2019. Lynn explained the responsibilities associated with doing that. Suggestions for tours, registrations, hotel accommodations and the president’s reception were discussed. The three chapters will share in organizing the convention.
The Edwin M. Stanton chapter’s next meeting will be held Dec 7 at the Clark Gable Museum. Barbara Anderson will be the hostess.
Miss Christmas pageant set for
Sunday at Brooke Hills Park
WELLSBURG — Young World Models will hold a Miss Christmas Pageant, with many categories for various ages, on Sunday at the Brooke Hills Park clubhouse.

Brooke Hills Park to hold brunch
with Santa, light-up on Saturday
WELLSBURG — Brooke Hills Park will hold its annual Brunch with Santa on Saturday at the park’s clubhouse.
Children in fourth grade and under may eat with Santa at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. The cost is $5, and reservations should be made no later than Saturday by calling (304) 737-1236.
The park also will be holding its light-up at 6 p.m. that day. The free event will include coffee and cookies.
