St. Agnes CWC taking pumpkin roll orders

MINGO JUNCTION — St. Agnes Catholic Woman’s Club held its September meeting in the church parish hall with Pat Cramblett presiding.

The Rev. James Dunfee gave the opening and closing prayers.

Reports were given by Clara Sue Milewsky and Barbara Crugnale.

Thank-you notes were received from the family of Brian Maguire and Joanne Raha.

The pumpkin roll sale was discussed. The last day to place an order is Oct. 25, and the last day for order pick-up is Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $9. To order, call the St. Agnes Hall at (740) 535-0098, Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon or 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Orders also can be placed by calling (740) 535-0780 or (740) 535-0174.

Debbie Riccardo was introduced as a guest.

Dunfee discussed church projects completed and ones being planned. He introduced Wil Crow, a seminarian who will be assisting Dunfee at the parish for the next year.

Raha gave information on the Day with the Bishop set for Oct. 18 at Sacred Heart Church in Hopedale.

A reminder was given about the Diocesan Rosary Congress, and Raha provided information the shoebox project St. Agnes will be participating in.

Rose Giampolo won the door prize and Kathy Flippo, the 50-50 drawing.

Refreshment committee members were Cramblett, Barbara Crugnale and Theresa Madden.

The next regular meeting will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 with the time changed because of pumpkin roll making. Members are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes.
