Jon Cooper featured artist

at Historic Fort Steuben

STEUBENVILLE — Jon Cooper of Toronto is the featured Steubenville Art Association artist during February in the lobby at Historic Fort Steuben located at 120 S. Third St.

A retired art educator of 35 years, Cooper is one of 189 artists who has works on display in the Akron “Epiphany” art festival exhibit at the Bath United Church of Christ Church through Sunday and has helped on the committee of the Toronto Arts Festival.

“His illustrative-type style, which would be the envy of any children’s book author, show ‘a little bit of whimsy,’ and most of his works are large, roughly 28” x 40,” an association spokesperson explained.
