The iServe day of community service will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday with all youth in grades five and up invited to come and help with painting and cleanup at the War Memorial building on North Street, Steubenville, which will serve as housing for single mothers and their children. Adults also are welcome to be involved in the service project, according to Bobbyjon Bauman, right, president of the Ohio Valley Youth Network, which is co-sponsoring the event along with Urban Mission Ministries, which is represented by Cynthia Smith, left, director of community outreach. A free T-shirt and pizza lunch will be provided to volunteers. Those interested in participating should contact Bauman at (608) 556-3068.
