Woman’s club program on ‘Ghosts of Ohio’
STEUBENVILLE — GFWC/OFWC Woman’s Club of Steubenville will hold its October luncheon and business meeting beginning at noon on Monday at the Steubenville Country Club.
Alan Hall, executive director of the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County, will present the program on “Ghosts of Ohio.”
Eileen Krupinski is program chairman. Eleanor Weiss and Marge Bedortha will serve as greeters and hostesses.
There will be an executive board meeting at 11 a.m.
Senior citizens meeting
at Wells Township center
BRILLIANT — Wells Township will be holding its monthly senior citizens meeting on Friday beginning at 1 p.m. at the Wells Township Community Center located at 107 Steuben St.
Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch. Ice cream sundaes will be provided for dessert. The gathering will include door prizes and a 50-50 drawing with bingo afterward.

Child safety seat check Oct. 6 in Toronto
TORONTO — TEMS Joint Ambulance District, the Jefferson County Health Department and John Ratti of John Ratti State Farm are partnering to hold a child safety seat check event.
It will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 6 at John Ratti State Farm located at 120 N. Fourth St., Toronto.
Dyslexia program set for
Oct. 22 in New Cumberland
NEW CUMBERLAND — Jamie Szymanski will give a program on dyslexia at 2 p.m. Oct. 22 at the New Cumberland Municipal Building’s multipurpose room located on Court Street.
The Women’s Club of New Cumberland, a General Federation of Women’s Clubs of West Virginia member agency, is sponsoring the program.
