Steubenville Woman’s Club kicks off Sept. 8

Will host fall district conference Sept. 17

STEUBENVILLE –Once again, it’s time for members of the GFWC/OFWC Woman’s Club of Steubenville to mark their calendars for the new club year events which will begin Sept. 8.

Members are asked to promptly send in their reservations for the opening luncheon scheduled to get under way at noon at the Steubenville Country Club.

Checks should be mailed to Roxanne Matysiak at 156 Starkdale Road, Steubenville, OH 43952.

Iris Craig, who will begin her second term as club president, has announced another major event for the club calendar, this one scheduled for Sept. 17.

On that date, the Woman’s Club of Steubenville will host the Ohio Federal Fall Southeast District Conference at the Steubenville Country Club. More details on the conference will be announced at a later date.

The schedule of programs for the Sept. 8 opening meeting of the 2016-17 club season and following meetings has been planned by Eileen Krupinski, club vice president and program chairman, and committee.

Several students from the School of Bright Promise will provide the entertainment for the opening meeting.

“Living the Volunteer Spirit” will be the theme developed throughout subsequent meetings.

The Woman’s Club of Steubenville holds monthly meetings in September through December and March through June.
