Women’s Ministry Retreat at Second Baptist Church
“Fill My Cup Until It Runs Over” will be the theme of the Women’s Ministry Retreat set for Saturday at Second Baptist Church located at 717 Adams St., Steubenville.
It is open to the public.
The retreat schedule includes:
8 a.m. to 9 a.m.: Registration and a continental breakfast in the fellowship hall.
9:05 a.m. to 9:20 a.m.: Praise and worship, Triumph of Praise, Second Bapist Church sanctuary;
9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Presentations, each 40 minutes;
11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.: Mime ministry, sermonette and closing prayer; and
12:30 p.m.: Lunch.
Topics and presenters will include: “Thirst,” Rhonda Parrish of Second Baptist Church; “Living Water,” Evangelist Clarissa Speaker of Greater Faith Worship Center, Industry, Pa., House of Prayer Outreach Ministry; “Spiritual Encounter,” Minister Barbara Creech, House of Faith, Steubenville; Mime Ministry, Arletta Reed of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Steubenville; and “Fill My Cup Until It Runs Over,” Evangelist Torchee Smith of Greater Faith Worship Center, Steubenville.
The Second Baptist Church Women’s Ministry is led by Constance Vinson, chairman; Peggy Ingram, co-chairman; Byrdie Owens, financial chairman; Patricia Herring, retreat facilitator; and committee members Terri Dixon, Gail Johnson, Cynthia Macon, Diane Benjamin and Beverly Huffman.

April 5: Congress for Christian Education annual play and dinner, “The Bingo Hall,” 6 p.m., $10 donation;
May 10: Annual women’s day tea with participants encouraged to wear their best hat in honor of Mabel Hendricks, 11 a.m.;
Aug. 22: Flag ministry annual day, 6 p.m. Second Baptist Church;
Aug. 23: Annual Constance J. Vinson brunch, Second Baptist Church, 11 a.m.; and
Aug. 24: Women’s ministry annual day, Minister Teresa Buchanan of Community Baptist Church, Lorain, Ohio.
