A unique way to show you care
If you’re looking for a unique way to express affection to your Valentine, Judy Bratten, executive director of Historic Fort Steuben, has a suggestion.
“Show your love by purchasing an engraved brick by Wednesday, and we will send a Valentine’s card announcing your gift,” Bratten said.
Normally each brick costs $65 for non-members and $50 for members, but with this Valentine’s Day special, you can purchase one brick for $45,” Bratten said.
“An engraved brick of three lines and 15 characters is a unique way to remember a loved one. Bricks ordered by the end of February will be placed by the Veterans Memorial Fountain in May,” Bratten said.
All bricks and their locations are listed in a book at the visitors center, which is located at 120 S. Third St., Steubenville. The phone number is (740) 283-1787.
