OES LaBelle Chapter honors members’ years of service

LaBelle Chapter No. 414, Order of the Eastern Star, held its Friendship Night honoring members with 25, 50, 65, 70 and 75 years of membership. Sandy Moxley, worthy matron, and Ben Moxley, worthy patron, presided.

Lawrence Cullifer, past grand patron of West Virginia, was an honored guest.

Past matrons and past patrons of LaBelle Chapter attending were Roberta Gilday, Clara McClure, Opal Kleineke, Lou Anne Craven, Rhonda Vitter, Mary Gail Monroe, Carolyn Bickerstaff, Arlene Sue Davis, Jaime Wineman, Sara Joe Peeler, Eileen Alloggia, Randall Craven, Howard McClure and Paul Moore.

Also recognized were honored masons Earl Fitzgerald, Ben Moxley, Randall Craven, Howard McClure, also ambassador, District 14, and Paul Moore, vice president, and Sara Joe Peeler, charities director.

Fifty-year pins were presented to Theresa Reese by Louise Fitzgerald, member of Crystal Chapter No. 18, East Liverpool. Rose Hawthorne, Audrey Lucas and Ann Pafcoff also were 50-year member recipients.

Twenty-five year pins were presented to Joyce Jackson by Diana Benline, member of Weyer Chapter No. 515, Centerville; Lisa Jenkins by Howard McClure; and Rhonda Vitter by Jaime Wineman and Leslie Duke. Other recipients were Barbara Bell, James E. Holskey, Sandra Lam and Jerry Williams.

Ruth Cook received a 65-year pin from Barbara Sweeney. Others eligible are Virginia Cooper and Donna Stuart.

Mary Coleman received a 75-year pin from Lou Anne Craven. Countess Wallace is to receive a 70-year pin.

Other 50-year members attending were Anna Graham and Paula Johns (Toronto chapter); Joann Osburn and Myrna Cline (Unionport chapter); and Barbara Sweeney, Marjorie McCullough and Lou Ann Craven (LaBelle Chapter.)
