Knights to host spaghetti dinner

The Knights of Columbus Council 472 will host a spaghetti dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the council hall on Two Ridges Road, Wintersville.

The menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, bread (garlic or plain), dessert, salad and coffee. Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children age 12 and younger.

Invitation to promenade extended

The Steubenville High School’s prom will be held Saturday to the theme “Cruising to the Burgh.” Students will be taking charter buses to Station Square to board the Gateway Clipper for dinner and dancing.

“We would like to invite parents, family, friends and the community for the promenade that will take place in the Steubenville High School Crimson Center Gymnasium, beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m.,” announces Mark Masloski, SHS Class of 2014 adviser.

Church holding sale on Saturday

Second Chance Ministries Church of God in Christ will hold a yard and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church located at 255 S. Third St., Steubenville.

Items will include adult and children’s clothes, household goods, books, toys and jewelry.

AMVETS Post 275 to meet

AMVETS Post 275 will meet Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Veterans Service Office, 423 North St., Steubenville.

There will be numerous program updates and officer elections. All area veterans are welcome to attend.

Veterans Service Commission to meet

The regular monthly meeting of the Jefferson County Veterans Service Commission will be held Wednesday at 12:30 a.m. at the War Memorial Building, 423 North St., Steubenville.

All veterans or interested parties are welcome to attend.
