Super 8 undergoes complete renovation
STEUBENVILLE — The Super 8 of Steubenville, which opened in 1985, has undergone its first complete renovation since its opening.
The hotel’s 63 guest rooms and lobby have undergone extensive upgrades. Rooms include all new furniture, dressers, desks, wardrobes, chairs, vanities, nightstands and lamps, as well as large pieces of new artwork that feature scenes from Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
The lobby has new tables and chairs and the hotel will expand its breakfast offerings as well as hosting weekly evening receptions for guests. New windows and carpets and new landscaping and signage have been installed.
“We’re thrilled to show off our new design and furnishings to our guests,” said Deborah Borsch, general manager. “Comfort always has been one of our top priorities and this renovation has allowed us to offer guests an even higher level of comfort while staying in our hotel.”
The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, parking and WiFi and has a 24-hour reception desk and daily housekeeping.
The hotel is a previous winner of a Herald-Star Readers’ Choice award.
The Super 8 of Steubenville is operated by Prospera Hospitality, headquartered in Pittsburgh.
