Toronto all-sports academy holds grand opening

A grand opening for the Eastern Ohio Speed and Agility Academy located at 215 North Fourth St. in Toronto was held recently. The all-sports academy was created for males and females ages 5 and older and is designed to increase speed and athletic performance while focusing on proper running mechanics to reduce the chance of injury. According to owner Tay Montgomery, the academy’s goal is to specialize in speed agility equipment training as well as a core strength and conditioning program to offer athletes the opportunity to learn the physical, emotional, nutritional and psychological components to becoming the best possible athlete. The business trains athletes residing in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania and is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays; and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
