BRIDGEPORT — Interim HealthCare of Bridgeport, an in-home health care services provider, received a deficiency-free rating in the tri-annual Medicare survey from the Ohio Department of Health.

The survey was conducted during a one-week period to ensure that home health service providers are meeting all requirements to maintain quality patient care, officials said.

The visits are unannounced and a thorough review of quality, safety and performance issues are conducted as well as a review of administrative and clinical procedures, patient medication management and employee personnel files, officials said. In addition, surveyors visit patient’s homes with the clinicians and observe operations throughout the agency.

“It’s not every day that an agency receives a deficiency-free survey. I congratulate our entire team and their contributions to this achievement,” stated Andrea Stillion, administrator for Interim HealthCare of Bridgeport.

Interim HealthCare of Bridgeport services Belmont, Jefferson and Harrison counties. The business provides in-home care services, such as nursing, therapy, private duty nursing and aides, home infusion, homemakers, companions, sitter services and facility staffing, to patients in the comfort of their homes, officials said. The agency is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For information, contact the office at (740) 635-0045.
