Eat ’n Park plans one-day fund-raiser

PITTSBURGH — Eat’n Park Restaurants will hold a One-Day, One-Dollar fundraiser on Saturday.

Restaurant guests will be encouraged to support Eat’n Park’s annual Caring for Kids Campaign, which benefits children’s hospitals throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.

Patrons will be able to add a $1 donation to their check that day. Eat’n Park team members hope to raise $10,000 during the fundraiser, and Nestle Professional Vitality is matching the first $5,000 in donations.

“This is the first year we’re holding a restaurant-wide Caring for Kids fundraiser on the same day,” says Trina DeMarco, Eat’n Park’s director of corporate giving and community partnerships. “Our campaign is all about community effort, and with the help of our guests, we’re hopeful we’ll reach our goal of $10,000.

The regional chain has restaurants at 100 Mall Drive in Steubenville and 226 Three Springs Drive in Weirton.

“Nestle Professional has supported the Caring for Kids Campaign for many years,” says Greg Nuccetelli, national account manager for Nestle Professional. “We are happy and humbled to play a part in the One-Day, One-Dollar fundraiser and participate in this wonderful cause.”

All proceeds will benefit local children’s hospitals. Visit eatnpark.com/CaringForKids for information.
