Elite Pro adjusts training to fit changes in clientele

Shari Jo Watkins

WINTERSVILLE — By 2018, the nation’s work force will be 50 percent millennial driven, a number that will rise to 75 percent by 2025.

Shari Jo Watkins, owner of Elite Pro Coaching, says, “We must take a serious look at the way we currently train, engage and retain our future leaders and teams. It could gravely effect your bottom line if you don’t.”

The business provides partner programs for corporate professional development with a focus on engagement, team member retention and a culture that allows an organization to become and remain an employer of choice, which ultimately will improve the bottom line. A motivational speaker and coach, Watkins can meet any organization or individual exactly where they are and provide simple steps toward a better future.

“The leadership training courses, partner development programs and workshops that we offer are unique, fun and completely interactive,” says Watkins, who added Elite can help break barriers between the millennials and everybody else, helping to bridge the generational disconnect in the workplace today.”

Elite will hold a grand opening from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Valley Wine Cellar on Main Street. There will be a ribbon cutting with the Jefferson County and Weirton Area chambers of commerce at 4:15 p.m. A wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres will follow.

“Our delivery styles challenge, energize and excite people toward personal growth, and together, we create positive behavioral change with lasting results for you,” she said, adding companies have the same struggle in that there never seems to be enough time for continuing development and that’s a big reason why great people leave. “Your team is a reflection of you, and cookie cutter courses just don’t work anymore. I want to help you take your employee training game to a whole new level so that you can focus on other critical parts of your business.”

She said Elite can provide customized training and development solutions, offers customized training and is the only locally based company that will come directly to you.

An Ohio Valley native, Watkins also is a founding member of the Motivation Unleashed — Change Your Life Now speaking series and the author of two upcoming books. She has varied degrees and certifications from Michigan State University, Penn State and West Liberty University; specialty certifications in leadership and organizational development, financial management, target market analysis, health care administration; and holds a master black belt in Lean Six-Sigma. She has served in a leadership capacity in food and beverage, hospitality, electronic commerce, software development, career planning, sales and marketing, various nonprofit and fundraising arenas, youth, teen and adult education and health care administration.
