C.H.A.N.G.E. partners with Trinity

STEUBENVILLE – A partnership between C.H.A.N.G.E. Inc. and Trinity Health System will help promote and provide education about good nutrition, officials have announced.

The partnership with Trinity will add an educational component to the after-school and summer meal programs operated by C.H.A.N.G.E. Trinity will provide a variety of educational materials that will inform children and their families about proper nutrition and preparing healthy meals. Registered dieticians from Trinity will design and coordinate the educational components of the program. Current and future meal locations will be provided regular information on healthy eating habits along with workshops that focus on topics related to good nutrition.

The C.H.A.N.G.E. programs provide free, hot, nutritious meals to children under the age of 18 at numerous sites throughout Brooke and Hancock counties. The programs served 1,482 children and 19,419 meals in 2013.
