Cascio — Alatis
BALTIMORE, Md. — Eric John Alatis and Katie Beth Cascio were united in marriage on Aug. 20, 2016, at Pier Five Hotel in Baltimore. Andrea Abarzula officiated the outdoor ceremony which took place on the pier’s Waterfront Garden overlooking the Inner Harbor.
The bride is the daughter of Debi Hicks of New Lebanon, N.Y., and Phillip Cascio of Baltimore.
The groom is the son of Stathis and Kathy Alatis of Weirton.
The bride wore a tulle and opal organza wedding dress with a fitted bodice adorned with crystals releasing into a layered skirt. The beaded illusion back was finished with crystal buttons over a zipper closure.
Sara Leidner served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Cote, Julie Thomasson, Danielle Wescott and Andrea Abarzua.
Tony Macre served as best man. Groomsmen were Robert Alatis, brother of the groom, and Allen Lighthiser and Josh Redford.
Following a cocktail hour on the Harbor West Terrace, a reception was held at the hotel’s Harbor Club Room.
The bride is a graduate of Owings Mills High School and a 2005 graduate of Quinnipiac University with a degree in biomedical science. She is employed as a technical recruiter for Vision Technology Services in Hunt Valley, Md.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Weir High School and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in economics. He is employed as an IT recruiter for the ACI Group in Fells Point, Md.
The couple honeymooned at the Excellence Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, and are making their home in Baltimore.
