Oesch — Angelica

ALLIANCE – Meghan Oesch of Alliance and Jared Angelica, also of Alliance, were united in marriage on Dec. 13, 2014, during a 1 p.m. cermony at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alliance where the Rev. Matthew Mankowski officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Shalmers Oesch of Alliance. Parents of the groom are John and Janet Angelica of Mingo Junction.

Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore an ivory and champagne strapless lace gown accented with a crystal beaded jacket. She carried a bouquet of dark purple calla lillies and lavender roses.

Jane Wearstler of Alliance served as maid of honor. Kimberly Kohlhepp of Arlington, Va., was the bridesmaid.

Jason Angelica of Wilmington, Ohio, served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Mike Schott of Alliance; Alex Oesch and Will Oesch, both of Alliance and both brothers of the bride; Josh Morgan of Alliance; and Craig Shaw of Alliance.

Reagan Angelica of Wilmington, Ohio, niece of the groom, was the flower girl, and Ben Angelica of Wilmington, Ohio, the groom’s nephew, was the ringbearer.

The reception was held at St. George Serbian Center in North Canton, Ohio.

Following a wedding trip to St. Thomas in the Caribbean, the couple are making their home in Alliance.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Alliance High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and audiology. In 2014, she earned her master’s degree in education from the University of Akron. She is employed at Alliance City Schools as an intervention specialist.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Steubenville High School and a 2005 graduate of West Liberty University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in education. He also obtained a master’s degree in educational leadership and administration. He is employed by Alliance City Schools as a health and physical education teacher and also is the varsity football offensive line coach as well as a wrestling and track coach.
